It's time for Succinctly Yours, another writing meme that piggy backs on the idea of Susan of the Stony River Blog. Grandma Goulash posts a picture and you are to write a 140 character or word story about it. You can also use the word of the day in your post if you wish. I wanted to quickly get this one out before I went to bed...
This week's word is ponder. Here is the picture and my story:
Charles watched nervously as Sheila drew the company's projected earnings downward, but his worry was whether he had a future with her. (135 characters)
Sorry everyone, but it's pretty late (again!) so I will be by tomorrow.
LOL< he couldn't even really pay attention!
ReplyDeleteWell, Susan, here is another "not minding" the business story. I like yours. And your people may not have a future if they don't do business first.
ReplyDelete..
Aww, that's cute. I like it.

My computer is still not allowing me to sign in at some blogs. Something about enabling cookies on Blogger, but I haven't figured out how to do that yet.
Ah, how to know for sure. Nice one.
ReplyDeleteNo one's paying attention to the figures. Poor Charles, lets hope she doesn't ask for feed back!
ReplyDeleteAh yes! Some guys have other thoughts in mind when a pretty girl's around! Good one!
ReplyDeleteI didn't see romance at all, when I chose this photo. Your mf highlights it quite nicely. Hope Charles prevails.
ReplyDeleteI guess we'll have to stay tuned to know how it ends...
ReplyDeleteBusiness and romance...both fraught with endless perils and misunderstandings...LOL!
ReplyDeleteGood one, Susan!
Ha!!!!
ReplyDeletenot paying at work could get him sacked...but a true MF....clever.
ReplyDeleteWe were definitely in the same "romance" line of thinking...although mine was more of a "bromance." LOL
ReplyDeleteMixing up the romance and business - nice touch Susan!!
