It's such an unexpected surprise when I go to some of your blogs and there's music playing (like at Christine's blog, Christine's Corner), or when your post centers around a forgotten song by a favorite artist (like September Mom at My Voice, My View -jump on over to her site to hear an oldy but goody by Annie Lenox ). I sit back, relax, and just breathe-remember,
"Music hath charms to soothe a savage breast,
To soften rocks, or bend a knotted oak." (William Congreve)
This may be what you need to help calm your nerves in an otherwise hectic day, so because of this and the sites of these two ladies, I have decided to make this a weekly addition to my blog. Every Tuesday I will try to provide you with a little musical relaxation, and I will start things off tonight with a heartwarming number by Rascal Flatts. Close your eyes and listen to the words of My Wish, and have a good evening.
Hey, you know I love this idea! Music is my number one de-stressor and relaxation source. Thanks for the kind words about my blog. I'm going to sit back now and enjoy a tune with Rascal Flatts. :)
ReplyDeleteaah so relaxing, Love Rascal Flatts! Yes add music it puts everyone in a great mood!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I realize I don't get to relax to music as much as I used to.
ReplyDeleteVery nice!! I was just about to start doing this on Mondays! Thanks for popping in over at my place! Glad to have you! I am your most recent follower!
ReplyDeleteI love Rascal Flats. I only wish I had speakers at work to hear it. Perhaps later today at home.
ReplyDeleteI discovered Rascal Flats in, of all places, my son's DVD of the movie Cars..."life is a highway" fun stuff.
ReplyDeleteLove Rascal Flatts!!!
ReplyDeleteGood song. My kids associate Rascal Flatts with the Cars movie. Funny.
ReplyDeleteMore than most country artists out there - and I do love me my country - Rascal Flatts has my heart. They write with soul and intelliegence and heart. the ONLY thing that bugs me is their videos. Why always the girls in the bikinis? Yes, I know it sells, and I'm hardly a prude, but it's such a contrast between their deep felt lyrics, harmony and then this piece of axx. Bugs me. But that said, LOVE the video here. Thanks so much.
